My story…

I’m a native of Seattle where I lived before moving with my family to Muscatine, IA in 2000. I attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks then proceeded to move back to Seattle for a year then to Rockford, IL for work. I joined the Air Force which took me to Montgomery, AL, Lompoc, CA, and Great Falls, MT. After separating from active duty I moved to the Salt Lake Valley for a job where I currently reside.

When I’m not working, I enjoy outdoor recreation (camping, hiking, biking, rafting/kayaking), travel, performing and visual arts, cooking, and enjoying adventures with my fiance, three young children, and our two dogs.

I stay active in local causes and volunteer when my schedule allows. I’m dedicated to environmental stewardship, community building, homelessness reduction, Queer liberation, and social justice.
